Judith Strawbridge was a founding lecturer in the School of Pharmacy at the Royal College of Surgeons, and has nearly 20 years of experience in designing, delivering and evaluating teaching and learning across the healthcare professions. She has experience in clinical pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmacy Education.

Her research interests encompass both patient care and health professions education. She is currently RCSI Lead for Enhancing Patient and Public Engagement and is Deputy Head (Education) of the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences. Inspired by her clinical experience and educational research, she is passionate about providing students with the optimal education for professional practice.

Judith was involved in the T4H project in the development of the European competency framework for behaviour change support in chronic diseases, part of Work Package (WP) 2, and is a Co-leader of this WP.

Afke Kerkstra is the co-founder and responsible for curriculum development of the Sports Studies bachelor at InHolland University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands. This 4-year bachelor focuses on Physical Activity and Healthy lifestyle, specialised in the increasing need for health-enhancing programmes. Afke is a research fellow in the Erasmus+ funded project Sport empowers disabled youth (SEDY) and the president of the European Network of Physical Activity and Lifestyle, a consortium of Sport bachelor programmes focusing on a healthy lifestyle.

In the T4H project Afke’s main role is leading the team in charge of designing of the learning outcomes based curriculum.

Cristina Lavareda Baixinho has a degree in rehabilitation nursing, a Master in School Health by the Faculty of Medicine, Lisbon, and a PhD in Nursing, by Portuguese Catholic University. Currently Cristina works at School of Nursing of Lisbon as Adjunct Professor and as Researcher at ciTechCare (Centre for Innovative Care and Health Technology) and UI&DE (Research and development unit in nursing). Her main research interests are health of institutionalised elderly, rehabilitation, fall prevention and knowledge translation to clinical practice.

Cristina is part of the Train4Health project management team (WP1) and participates in the design and development of the learning outcomes based curriculum (WP2).

Afonso Miguel Cavaco holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (FFULisboa) and a Ph.D. in Pharmacy Practice and Policy (Uni London, UK). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Health Communication, as a Fulbright Fellow, at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University (USA). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon, responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Social Pharmacy, as well as postgraduate courses in Health Communication. He was a full-time lecturer at the University of Oslo (Norway), being currently a visiting professor at the University of Helsinki (Finland), University of Tartu (Estonia), and University of Vilnius (Lithuania).

He has over 70 original papers published in indexed scientific journals with WoS impact factor, including on communication topics related to the use of health technologies, patient counseling, and education on the rational use of medicines.

Afonso was involved in the development of the European competency framework (WP2) and is now contributing for the T4H MOOC, one of the project’s educational products.

Nuno Manuel Pimenta holds a degree in Sports Sciences and Physical Education (FCDEF-UCoimbra), a Master in Science in Exercise and Health and a Ph.D. in Physical Activity and Health (both by the Faculty of Human Kinetics-ULisboa). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior-Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (ESDRM-IPSantarém), responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Health and Fitness and in Physical Activity and Lifestyle, as well as postgraduate courses in Physical Activity and Health.

He is currently the coordinator of the European Bachelor in Physical Activity and Lifestyle at ESDRM-IPSantarém. He has over 100 original scientific items including indexed scientific publications in journals with WoS impact factor, as well as abstracts, scientific reports and communications, including on communication topics related to the use of health technologies for promoting Health and Healthy Lifestyles.

In the T4H project Nuno is part of the multicentric focus group study team (WP2) and is now leading the development of case studies, another T4H educational product, in WP3.
